NONGSTOIN: A man has been arrested for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old firl from his village in West Khasi Hills.
Sources said the incident happened on July 15 when Thwen Lyngkhoi assaulted the minor in her house in Mawlangsu. Later, she was admitted in a hospital in Shillong.
Nongstoin Police have registered a case under the POCSO Act.
