SHILLONG: A woman was allegedly assaulted by her husband in West Jaintia Hills leading to her death.
Police said that on Tuesday night around 8 pm one Brik Talang assaulted his wife Rimaia Langshiang (43) of Khanduli village.
The victim succumbed to her injuries after the assault.
The accused is absconding.
