It is a usual scene on Shillong streets now a days. Commuters are forced to wait longtime for a shared-taxi ride as taxi drivers look for only passengers willing to reserve their vehicles. In sufficient number of city service buses as well as inadequate number of city bus routes have played to the advantage of taxi drivers. ST
