SHILLONG: Shillong Police on Thursday recovered as many as 39 petrol bombs from a forest in the city. Acting on a tip off, Police on Wednesday evening conducted raid at Mawtawar, Thapbalieh, VIP Road and recovered the petrol bombs from a jungle near the road.
While police said it is difficult to say who kept the petrol bombs there, it is suspected that the seized items may have a link with the recent arson cases in the city.
