KHNAM names 4 candidates for Assembly polls

SHILLONG: The Khun Hynniewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM) has announced names of four candidates for the 2018 Assembly elections so far even as the regional party is looking for suitable candidates to be fielded from more constituencies.

The four party candidates whose names have been announced are: sitting MDC from Jaiaw- Adelbert Nongrum contesting from 17-North Constituency, Ban L Nongbri from Mawlai constituency, Zaachari Shadap from Mawhati constituency and Moses Kharbithai from 13 Mawryngkneng constituency.

According to a statement, the regional party is looking for quality leaders and talks are on in other constituencies for which candidates will be announced in due time.
