Liquor worth Rs 2 lakh seized, 2 held

TURA: Two persons were arrested on Friday and a huge quantity of Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL) was seized on Tura-Garobandha road.
Police said checking on the road led to the seizure of 99 crates of IMFL, including beer, worth Rs 2.3 lakh.
The arrested men told West Garo Hills police that the liquor was to be sold in the black market in and around Garobadha town and the neighbouring district of South West Garo Hills.
