Arav Sanghavi leads the Milky Moo RCGC Challenge

Kolkata, Aug 2 (uni) Local lad Arav Sanghavi made good use of home conditions to strike a six over 78 and lead the Milky Moo RCGC Challenge here at the Par 72 Royal Calcutta Golf Club here today.
He is also perched atop the Category B leaderboard.
Arav was the most consistent of the lot as despite not hitting a single birdie, he only managed to drop strokes with bogeys on hole numbers 3,4,5 and 17 while carding a double on the par 3 13th hole.
Samridh Sen trails the leader in second place by three strokes after carding a nine over 81 which brought in two birdies on the opening and 16thholes. The duo of Aroush Tagore and Pinku Das are tied for third a further stroke behind at 82 with Biren Kumar of Jamshedpur completing the top five a further two strokes behind at 84.
Ramayush Ray has taken a similar three stroke lead in Category C over Garv Lakhmani as he shot a ten over 82. Closely behind Garv is Suveer Kapoor who is placed third at 86 followed by Rakshik Basu a further stroke behind at 87.
Rishi Biswas is the overwhelming favorite now to take home the Category D title as he carded an eight over 80 to lead by a massive nine strokes going into the final round tomorrow. Anshul Mishra is placed second at 89 followed by Ahaan Gupta in third a solitary stroke behind at 90.
Amongst the girls, Vibha Nath is in a familiar spot at the halfway stage atop the leaderboard after carding 107 with Arnaaz Ahmed one stroke behind in second place. Karishma Samadder brought in the best card of the day of 89 to lead Anwesha Das by a considerable seven strokes in Category C. Category D saw Jaaniya Dassani card 102 to take the lead over Sana Hussain by two strokes.
The youngest of them all competed in the Category E event and at the end of the first round, Prashant Agarwal is placed in pole position with three over 39 to his name followed by Arhaan Swaika at 46. UNI
