Los Angeles, Aug 2 (PTI) Rock band Coldplay kicked off its 2017 North American tour by paying homage to Linkin Park, which lost its vocalist Chester Bennington to suicide last month. The band’s frontman, singer Chris Martin performed a solo cover of Linkin Park smash hit “Crawling” on piano towards the end of the performance at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, reported Billboard. The “Magic” singer dedicated the performance to “anyone who’s missing someone,” and started singing the song again after goofing up the opening. Martin said he wanted to get it right since it would likely end up on YouTube. Bennington passed away at the age of 41 on July 20. PTI
