SHILLONG: Chief Minister Mukul Sangma on Wednesday asserted that more people are joining the Congress rather than anybody leaving it.
“Not just MLAs, leaders at the grassroots are also coming and joining the Congress,” he said when asked about reports of Congress leaders and MLAs preparing to leave the party.
He further downplayed the issue of a Cabinet reshuffle saying that it was a normal exercise of a government, which “sometimes reshuffles and sometimes does not.”
When asked if he would contest the elections from Songsak, Sangma said many times they don’t reveal everything to the media.
