Dry day in WKH on August 15

NONGSTOIN: Dry day has been declared in West Khasi Hills (WKH) district by the Deputy Commissioner on August 15 next on account of Independence Day.

All liquor shops/IMFL shops/bar hotels//canteen/C A bars/C S shops/ out tills/bonded ware houses shall remain closed on the day. Violation of the order will earn punishment as per Excise Act and Rules.
