SHILLONG: Haviva Passah, the lessee of Stay Four Seasons guest house who filed an FIR against South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai alleging outraging of her modesty, has petitioned the Meghalaya State Women’s Commission on the matter.
In a letter to the chairperson of the Commission, Passah said Shullai had on the evening of August 4 shouted at her and held her, hurting her chest with his arms and that the act had caused injury on her upper lip as he threw her out.
“He even cursed me and my mother using filthy language (and) outraging our modesty as women,” Haviva said in the petition.
According to Passah, Shullai later even disparaged her by saying that she went to his house in an inebriated state with her family whereas medical report indicates that she was not drunk.
