IMD sounds heavy rainfall alert

SHILLONG: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather warning whereby heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places with isolated extremely heavy falls on 11^th and 12^th August and  heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places on 13^th and 14^th August over Meghalaya, according to a press communique.
