Wild elephant electrocuted

GUWAHATI: Even as public protests are rife in Assam against negligent Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) over frequent loss of human lives in the state due to electrocution, a wild elephant was electrocuted on Thursday after it had come into contact with a loosely wired high tension power line at Donkamokam in West Karbi Anglong district.
