20 held with illicit liquor

SHILLONG: A team of East Khasi Hills excise staff arrested 20 persons and seized 317.15 litres of locally brewed liquor and 15.66 litres of IMFL from their possession in 31 separate cases in July. The seizures were made during raids in restaurants, stalls on the outskirts of the city.
