Women have started experimenting a lot with their jewellery and don’t just stick to the german silver or pure gold. Invest in different designs made of tassels and buy some temple jewellery for the authentic Indian look, suggest experts.
Prakshi Sharma, Creative Head, Prakshi Fine Jewellery and Nishant Tulsiani, Director, Anaqa have listed a few jewellery options:
* Temple jewellery is becoming a hot favourite trend among ladies these days. Be it chunky necklaces or earrings with divine motifs and coloured beads; women seem to love these all. This style of jewellery complements both sari and kurtis and is a must-have for the festive occasions.
* There are varieties of options available among earrings – long tassel earrings in pearls, enamel painted chand balis in bright colours embellished with Swarovski crystals, meenakari work earrings and big jhumkis in oxidized silver are some of the latest promising festive jewellery trends.
* Jadau jewellery is considered to be the most trending styles during festivals. A choker set in uncut polki or big chandbalis in pearl and polki makes a mesmerising style statement.
* Coloured gemstones in hues of red, blue and green are another trending style during festivals. Young ladies prefer chandelier earrings and statement rings embellished with rubies, emeralds and sapphires, while keeping the neck free of heavy necklaces.
* Matha patti and maang-tikas in gold and polki are quite in vogue. Of late, women have been observed to incline towards hand adornments like palm cuff (crafted in white or rose gold) and multi stranded haathphool (crafted in pearls and semi-precious gemstones).
* Bangles and handcuffs crafted in white gold embellished with Swarovski crystals and semi-precious coloured stones make a stunning style statement on Indian outfits. (IANS)
