Rains affects cement plant

SHILLONG: JUD cements Limited was affected on account of heavy rainfall in the State.
A statement in this regard said that the rainfall across northeastern states has caused serious damage to the entire region besides causing floods.
The cement plant was affected due to heavy rain in the entire Jaintia Hills district from August 7 till 14, the statement said.
Production and business activities have been affected in industries situated in the region.
