SHILLONG: Like every year, this year too, roads in different parts of Shillong have been damaged following heavy rain.
A visit to different pockets of the capital city indicates that the many important roads are now full of potholes making it difficult and dangerous for drivers and riders.
It is a common scene here, in Shillong, which can be sighted every monsoon.
The road from Anjalee point to Iew Mawlong and the adjacent commercial areas are also in a poor state. Secretary of the PWD (Building and Roads), B Kharbuli said that all the broken roads and potholes will be repaired after the rain stops.
