SHILLONG: The state government is considering the demand of the KHNAM youth wing to raise the upper age limit for local candidates of civil service examinations conducted by the Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC).
KHNAM has informed that the Principal Secretary of the Personnel Department has confirmed that their demand for age relaxation for civil services examination is under process.
In a statement, KHNAM youth wing president Thomas Passah said they received a confirmation on the phone.
“It’s a positive development for the educated unemployed youth in the state,” he said in a press conference here.
However, the KHNAM youth wing said it would keep following up the progress in this regard in the next two days.
