Cabinet hikes MeECL capital to Rs 3000 crore

SHILLONG: The state cabinet has approved the enhancement of the authorised share capital of Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited (MeECL) from Rs 2000 crore to Rs 3000.
Announcing the development, Cabinet Minister Zenith Sangma said, “MeECL is a government company so share capital has been increased.”
