SHILLONG: The HYC members who braved the rain to walk all the way from Nongstoin to Shillong were surprised when they found a dog following the protesters from Mawngap.
The canine came all the way to Shillong and was even seen sitting diligently with the protesting HYC members at the Additional Secretariat parking lot.
To this, Donboklang Kharlyngdoh, HYC vice president, said, “Even an animal (dog) apparently has some understanding of the demands of our organisation, you (elected representatives) are leaders and not dogs.”
