Kabul, Aug 25 (IANS) A number of gunmen attacked a mosque here on Friday and an explosion was heard, police said.
Witnesses and residents said the explosion occurred inside the Imam Zaman mosque complex in Qala-e-Najarha area, Tolo News reported. Police have cordoned off the area.
Many worshippers were inside the mosque when the explosion took place, Tolo said.
