SHILLONG: Meghalaya Police Football Team and Shillong United FC played a goalless draw in a match of the Officer’s Choice Blue Shillong Premier League 2017 organised by Shillong Sports Association at the Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex, Polo, here on Monday. Both the teams had their chances but failed to make the most of the goal-scoring opportunities in either half. The tackles however grew rougher in the second half on the part of Shillong United as MLP raised their game and came close to a breakthrough on a number of occasions. However, lack of finishing cost both the teams dear, having to share points at the end of the final whistle.
