TURA: A 22-year-old man has been arrested for raping a minor girl in her residence at Darugre Reserved Forest in East Garo Hills’ Rongjeng.
Police said the 10-year-old girl was alone in her house when Favian M Sangma of the same village raped her.
“We have arrested the accused and he has confessed to the crime. The victim has also been sent for medical examination,” Superintendent of Police R.T.G Momin said.
