SHILLONG: Shanbok L Lyngkhoi lodged a complaint that in the month of July 2015, Ronaldson Dkhar of Lumpyngngad, Nongthymmai, Shillong circulated leaflets for admission in some institutions in Bangalore.
After a few months of coming into contact with Dkhar, the complainant was told that he got an admission in the Institute of Nursing, Bangalore and took Rs. 20,000 from him.
In November 2015, Dkhar took the complainant and ten others to Bangalore Technology Institute instead of the Nursing Institute.
Lyngkhoi had to pay a total amount of Rs. 1,32,000 for various fees at the Institute.
After returning to the city, the complainant asked the accused to return his money for which Ronaldson Dkhar had issued a cheque which according to Lyngkhoi is worthless.
The matter is under inquiry.
