ASDMA to hold workshop on disaster preparedness in hotels, cinema halls, shopping malls

GUWAHATI: The Assam State Disaster Management Authority in association with District Disaster Management Authority, Kamrup Metro will be organising a one-day workshop on “Disaster Preparedness in Hotels, Cinema Halls & Shopping Malls” on September 19 next at Assam Administrative Staff College, Khanapara here.

The workshop will be inaugurated by the Chief Secretary. Several experts from National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Mumbai Fire Service, NDRF, NDMA and Senior Officers of Assam Police will make deliberations on some important aspects of disaster preparedness. The participants will be owners/ Senior Executives of the Star Category Hotels, Cinema Halls, Multiplexes and Shopping Malls.
