SHILLONG: Home Minister HDR Lyngdoh has expressed concern over the circulation of a Facebook and WhatsApp message that says his son, Nathaniel Osbert Rymmai, was a client of a prostitute.
“I was compelled to file an FIR as it was a baseless allegation that will mislead the public,” he said on Friday.
Lyngdoh also rebutted the claims that he hired goons to beat up the woman. The picture of a bruised girl was also circulated on social media.
“I don’t understand how much people want to malign me. I am hopeful that the law will take its course in this matter,” he added.
