IIPS students observe World Literacy Day

SHILLONG: The students of Indian Institute of Professional Studies (IIPS) organised an outreach community camp at Pongkung Village of the Mawsynram Block, East Khasi Hills on Saturday, which showcased various cultural activities besides creating awareness on importance of literacy and its impacts in society.
A street play was conducted by the students in collaboration with the Pongkung Dorbar Shnong and its residents.
The event was organised in line with the World Literacy Day 2017, where several took part.
