SC seeks Assam response on medical seats

SHILLONG: The Supreme Court on Monday took up the case relating to denial of admission to ten Meghalaya candidates in Assam-based medical colleges.
Sources said that the Assam government has been asked to file its response on the status regarding Meghalaya students who had applied for medical studies in Assam.
The next date for hearing is on September 21.
The State Government is waiting for the order of the Supreme Court delivered on Tuesday.
