SHILLONG: The MDCs from JHADC met MLAs Prestone Tynsong and Sniawbhalang Dhar at Pongtung guest house on Sunday with a request to retain Thombor Shiwat as CEM of JHADC.
The MDCs are going all out to prevent Andrew Shullai from becoming the CEM for which a special session will be held on Wednesday.
Sources revealed that 5-6 MDCs from Jaintia Hills secretly met Tynsong and Dhar to oust Shullai and retain Shiwat as the CEM.
The MDCs were reportedly staying in the guest house for 2 days.
