One arrested with gecko from 9th Mile

SHILLONG: Ri-Bhoi police along with personnel from regional of the wildlife crime control bureau here arrested one Raju Ali (50) along with a gecko on Sunday morning from 9th Mile Baridua Khanapara. The operation was conducted based on an intelligence input.

The Gecko is 8-inch long and  was recovered while the accused was trying to sell it for Rs one lakh  at his residence. An FIR was filed in this connection.
