One held in gecko smuggling

SHILLONG: Ri-Bhoi police along with the regional office of wild life crime control on Sunday conducted raid at 9th mile Baridua, Khanapara after it came to know about the dealing of gecko lizard.One person identified as, Raju Ali (50) was caught with a gecko.
The captured reptile is 8 inch long and it was recovered while the accused was dealing it for Rs 1lakh at his residence. 
The wild life official seized the gecko and later filed an FIR.
