GNLA chief nursing leg infection in Bangla: BSF

SHILLONG: Garo National Liberation Army chief Sohan Shira is reportedly undergoing treatment in Bangladesh for an infection on his legs.
Sources from the Border Security Force (BSF) said the paramilitary force had received inputs that Shira was initially treated by medical practitioners in South Garo Hills.
However, according to sources, the treatment did not give him much relief and that he had moved to Bangladesh for better treatment.
According to sources, the GNLA chief is undergoing treatment in the Mymensing-Sherpur area of Bangladesh.
The BSF has already shared the inputs about the presence of Shira in Bangladesh to Border Guard Bangladesh. But till date, the BGB has not confirmed the presence of Shira in the neighbouring country.
