SHILLONG: The state government will review all aspects related to the implementation of GST in Meghalaya.
Taxation minister Zenith Sangma told reporters on Friday that there have been various pending grievances related to the implementation of GST.
“Hence, we will carry out a review shortly so that we get a clear picture,” he said.
According to Zenith, internet connectivity and other issues will have to be addressed at the earliest.
Simultaneous polls
In line with the chief minister, Zenith said he was against holding simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly polls.
“There are a lot of difficulties including mid-term polls and I feel that it is not viable to hold simultaneous polls,” he said.
