Jammu:  The Pakistani Army on Thursday resorted to unprovoked firing at Indian positions on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, Defence Ministry sources said.
The Pakistanis used mortars, automatics and small arms to target the Indian positions in Krishna Ghati sector, the sources said.
“The Indian troops retaliated strongly and effectively. No casualty or damage has been reported from our side,” an officer said. The LoC divides Jammu and Kashmir between India and Pakistan.(IANS)
