AICC leader flays NDA govt  for scrapping of central schemes

 SHILLONG: The visiting All India Congress Committee (AICC) Secretary In -charge, Vijay Laxmi Sadho, has highlighted the difference in governance between the previous regime of the Congress-led UPA government and the present BJP-led NDA government.

 

She said that the Central government had scrapped many central schemes, demonetisation had weakened the economy of the country, the implementation of GST had unnecessarily affected small-time traders etc.

 

The AICC leader during an interaction with over 300 Block Congress functionaries of Jirang Block Congress Committee (JBCC) on Saturday urged the Congress workers to work hard for the party in the upcoming 2018 Assembly elections.

 

 She was accompanied by Working President of Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee, James Lyngdoh, Joplin S. Shylla, President, Meghalaya Pradesh Mahila Congress etc.

 

Lyngdoh, in his speech has criticised the BJP-led NDA government on the hike in petrol and diesel prices.
