SHILLONG: After the recent transfer of police officials in view of the upcoming Assembly polls, the government has already prepared the transfer list of senior officials which will be made effective soon.
An official source said on Sunday that the list, which awaits approval of the higher authorities, would be notified soon.
It is mandatory on the part of the government to effect transfer of officers who had stayed in a place of posting for more than three years.
