Guwahati IIT student remains untraced since Oct 22

GUWAHATI: A B.Tech student of the IIT-Guwahati has remained untraced since he had left the institution’s campus on October 22 last. The IIT authority has filed an FIR with the local Amingaon Police station regarding the missing student after the student did not return to his hostel.

Police informed that the IIT student from Telengana, Venkat Vikash Bhanga who stays in Siang hostel in the campus, had remained untraced since he had gone out of the institution’s campus on October 22.

Meanwhile, the mother of the missing student has arrived here and lodged a separate FIR with the police regarding her untraced son. Investigation was on to trace the student.
