RKM celebrates Sister Nivedita birth anniv

SHILLONG: To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sister Nivedita, the Ramakrisha Mission (RKM) Ashrama, Sohra organised essay, drawing and singing competitions in its premises on Saturday.
The programme was attended by where 67 RKM schools in Meghalaya. A brief function was also held where the significance and contribution of Sister Nivedita to Indian education and nation building were highlighted.
The winners of the essay competitions are Balarihun Kharlukhi of RKM Mylliem, Lapynkmenlang Khongsit of RKM Sohra, drawing competitions are Franky Chakma of RKM Sohbar, Herites Singh of RKM Sohra, Mewanpynbhalang Tham of RKM Sohra and singing competitions are RKM Khliehshnong.
