Recently, the MBoSE had made it clear that educational institutions affiliated to the Board will have to maintain 50 per cent pass percentage if they want to retain the affiliations.
Last month, MBoSE executive chairman Pravin Bakshi said according to the MBoSE regulation for affiliation norms, all affiliated institutions would have to maintain an average pass percentage of 50 per cent in the board examinations.
Analysing the past three years’ record, Bakshi said many institutions had failed to maintain the required criteria in the SSLC and HSSLC examinations.
The board had cautioned such institutions to take necessary steps to achieve satisfactory pass percentage in the coming years.
It had also said it would take necessary action including de-affiliation according to the regulations, if the institutions failed to maintain the required pass percentage.
