Trekking
The special rural trekking organised by Trekking Society Wahkhen will be held on November 4. The trekkers will go to Mawryngkhang, the king of stone at Wahkhen by trekking as many as 50 suspension bamboo bridges. General council
The general council of HSPDP will be held at Dinam Hall, Jaiaw at 11 am on Tuesday.

Meeting
The general body meeting and election of the new executive committee of the Meghalaya Architects Forum will be held at the State Convention Center at 10 am on November 4.

Office bearers
Triennial general body meeting of Matri Mandir, Polo Ground, was held on Sunday, and a new managing committee was constituted. Nripendra Kumar Das is the new president and Debajyoti Bhttacharjee is the general secretary.
Gorkha Secondary School Alumni Association has recently elected its office bearers and members. Khageswar Joshi as president, vice president is Sharad Rana, general secretary, Dhruba Lok Thapa, joint secretary, Ujjal Rai, publicity secretary is Dilip Gurung, and Subhadra Pradhan Thapa as treasurer and 7 executive members.

Singing competition
St. Francis De Sales Secondary School, Laitkor will organise a singing competition ‘School Icon’ on the premises of St. Joseph’s Parish from 4:30 pm on Tuesday. Winners will awarded with cash prize.
