SHILLONG: Police have seized two coal laden trucks in West Jaintia Hills district besides detecting two abandoned coal trucks in Ri Bhoi district.
Two coal laden trucks were seized by police while transporting coal on national highway 44 at Phramer, in WJH) in violation of NGT order around 8pm on Sunday.
One of them (bearing registration number AS-01GC-4173) was owned by Kalip Lytep Suchiang and the other (bearing registration number AS-01FC-1741) was owned by Pawan Kumar Mishra.
On October 27, police detected two abandoned coal trucks at Ronghona, Byrnihat around 2 pm.
