SHILLONG: The Dorbar Dong of Lumbasuk has clarified that the person wanted in connection with a case at Laban PS was not a resident of the area as mentioned in the police report.
In a statement to the press released on Wednesday, the Dorbar Dong said the news report that appeared in The Shillong Times on November 7, which was based on information available on the state police website, mentioned that Donbok Kharhujon (29), son of (L) H. However, he was not from the area.
In another clarification, Nilchand Baruah of Laitumkhrah said the news item published on November 7 saying Premchand Baruah passed away was incorrect.
It was his employee Jim Wahlang (75) who expired.
