SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Upper Primary School Teachers’ Association, Bhoirymbong block unit, has urged all teachers in the state to support the body.
In a recent general meeting held at Lumdaitkhla UP School, district president P Rana said all teachers should co-operate with the association for achieving their goals.
The publicity secretary of MUPSTA, EG War, said agitation programmes were held since 1993 and till date the government has enhanced their salary five times.
