Awareness programme
The NSS Seng Khasi College Unit in collaboration with the Cancer Society North East India, organised a cancer awareness programme on Saturday in the college. Dr. Vikas Jagtap, Associate Professor and Head of Radiation and Oncology Deptt. NEIGRIHMS Hospital was the resource person for the programme. Dr. Lakhon Kma, Programme Coordinator, NSS Cell, NEHU was present at the programme wherein he too contributed much to the volunteers’ knowledge of Cancer. Dr. Jagtap informed volunteers about the different causes of cancer and the various ways to be taken to prevent it.The programme was also attended by teachers and Principal of the College.
