18 coal-laden trucks detained in EJH

SHILLONG: East Jaintia Hills police have seized several trucks while transporting coal in violation of NGT order.
On the evening of November 10, three trucks with Assam registration numbers were detained at Lumshnong village.
On the same evening, police detained 15 more coal-laden trucks, which were parked at Umsahi, Star Cement parking lot at Lumshnong. However, the truckers fled.
