SHILLONG: The director of health services (DHS) has assured the Khatar Shnong Youth Welfare organisation that doctors would soon join the Khatar Shnong PHC.
The organisation had met the director of health services over non-availability of doctors at the PHC for over eight months. The organisation expressed concern that some doctors did not prefer rural postings causing inconvenience for patients.
