Weather warning
The India Meteorological Department has issued a weather warning on Wednesday, whereby thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is very likely at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya on Thursday.
Office bearers
The Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee has reconstituted the office bearers of the Shillong, with the following office bearers. The newly elected president is Meba Ailang Kharkongor, Elgiva Gwyneth Rynjah as general secretary and others.
Medical camp
The Sarada Sangha, Shillong, will hold a free medical camp on the Opera Hall premises, Thana road 9 am onwards on Sunday.
IGNOU
The Regional Director of IGNOU informed that its Common Service Centres in the state have online facilities for admission, by paying nominal charges. Students looking for admission into its various academic programmes can avail these facilities.
Training workshop
The Inner Wheel Club of organised a teacher’s training workshop on Monday and Tuesday. Teachers from several schools of the city attended the workshop.
