SHILLONG : The Central Election Committee of People’s Democratic Front (PDF) will distribute party forms from Friday, with a target to release the first list of candidates next week.
Addressing the press on Thursday, president of PDF, Ivanlumlang Marbaniang said, “About 10-15 candidates will be declared in the first list. Presently, the manifesto of the party is not ready but we have set certain goals. The manifesto of the party will be released in the month of December.”
The party has, however, not zeroed in on the last date of submitting the forms.
Brushing aside news reports that PDF has already decided on candidates in certain constituencies, Marbaniang made it clear that the party has not confirmed party tickets to anyone as yet.
