Cars destroyed in workshop fire

SHILLONG: Thirteen vehicles were gutted in a massive fire that broke out in the early hours of Thursday at a vehicle workshop at Mawlai Nongkwar.
According to police, the fire started at the vehicle workshop around 3.40am. The shop was owned by Brarding Marbaniang and Krongstarwell L Marshillong. However, no causality was reported.
Police suspect that short circuit might have been the cause of the fire but investigation is on to ascertain it.
