SHILLONG: Mawsynram Border Area College Week 2017, which was on the theme ‘Challenge for Excellence’, concluded on Friday.
The college, affiliated to NEHU organised cultural programmes and fashion show. Kloilan Mylliem and Barisha Kharnaior bagged Mr and Miss Mawsynram Border Area College titles, respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, B. Lyndem, former chairperson of the State Women Commission and director of the NEHU college development council, lauded the founder member of the college, Shrolenson Marbaniang for setting up the institute, which has completed 20 years. She urged the college to prepare for NAAC assessment.
